Acting as both powder room and guest bathroom, this space needed to be special. The existing cabinet was repainted and new hardware in brushed chrome was found. The tiled countertop is cast glass tiles in a random mix of greiges. The new taps are actually made for medical laboratories. The sink is brushed stainless steel. The walls are covered in mica-coated paper that shimmers when lights are dimmed and the candles lit. A new wall of mirror not only enlarges the small space but eliminates the need for a backsplash. |
